DHS Sport Success

DHS Sport Success

The Interschool Sport competition is back in full swing after a few years of consistent COVID interruptions and Darwin High School students are again enjoying the opportunity to represent DHS.

Netball Gala Day

On Wednesday 1 March, 18 Darwin high students participated in the Darwin region Netball Gala Day. We entered 4 teams (2 girls and 2 mixed). This was the first time a mixed division took place and it happened because we had interest from boys about participating. The call was put out to other schools and SEDA also entered teams in the mixed comp. Darwin high won both the girls and mixed divisions and a lot of fun was had by all.

Basketball Gala Day

Wednesday 15 March saw 31 Darwin High School students participate in the recent Senior Basketball 3 vs 3 Gala Day. The two female and four male teams who participated on the day competed in good spirits and represented Darwin High School in a positive manner.

Big thanks to all the DHS staff who organise and provide support for the Interschool Sports events.
