Emmy Winner on Campus

It may have missed out on a Logie but Seven / Netflix produced series Beat Bugs has won an Emmy. The series, which uses the music of The Beatles, won Outstanding Writing in a Preschool Animated Program for Aussie creator Josh Wakely.

Darwin High School's own Defence Transition Mentor, Michael Rule, an animator in his spare time, has design credit for twenty six episodes of the award winning program.

Beat Bugs is a family animated series based on the music of The Beatles, which premiered on the Seven Network in 2016 and is available globally on Netflix.

Congratulations Mr Rule!
