Excursion to Lake Argyle
Two of Darwin High School's Stage 1 Outdoor Education classes travelled 482km to Lake Argyle for a four day paddling adventure at the end of Term 3 and start of Term 4.
Students had to navigate their way around the lake, following a route plan that they had created in class. They also had to carry all of their equipment for the trip in their canoes (some had to use a lot more man-power to paddle than others!!). The trip was a fantastic success, with everyone having a great time.
Despite looming threats of a big downpour for both trips, Mother Nature kindly kept the tents dry. Congratulations to all students and staff who were involved to make both journeys a big success.
