GRIP Leadership

On Friday 8 March nine Darwin High School students attended the GRIP Student Leadership conference to gain insight and develop skills to apply in their leadership positions at Darwin High School.
The GRIP Student Leadership Conference concentrates specifically on training student leaders for their role as school leaders. The style, topics, and content of the conference focussed on what the students can do to initiate immediate change.
Darwin High School teacher and SRC Mentor, Mrs Sevi Redwood said
The conference gave students the opportunity to network with other student leaders, it was an engaging and fun way for students to develop new perspectives and ideas for making a positive contribution to their school and the broader community.
The SRC meets every Wednesday at lunchtime in the classroom behind Café Ah Toy. All students are invited to contribute to the SRC by emailing [email protected].
