Harmony Day Art Exhibition

Harmony Day Art Exhibition

As part of a week long Harmony Day celebration at Darwin High School (21 to 24 March) students from the Secondary Intensive English Unit held an art exhibition. The event showcased art from the heritage of Darwin High students who have recently arrived in Australia. All members of the student body were encouraged to add their own images of their favourite artwork.

Harmony Day is a day for all Australians to embrace cultural diversity and to share what we have in common. The central message for Harmony Day is that ‘everyone belongs’, reinforcing the importance of inclusiveness.
