Harmony Week @ DHS
Last month Darwin High School celebrated Harmony Month and our culturally diverse school community.
By teacher, Robyn Northcote
Staff and students got involved and celebrated, inclusiveness, celebrating diversity, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Throughout the week there was a range of activities including quizzes, traditional foods, blessings from the Chung Wah Lion Dance Troupe, and photo collages. Staff paid tribute to their heritage, surprising students as they walked through the corridors in traditional costumes.

Harmony Week is always a wonderful reminder that indeed, Darwin and Darwin High School is very much a multicultural society.
