2023 Health Expo

2023 Health Expo

On Friday 2 June Darwin High School hosted its annual Health Expo in the Tank.

Over 1200 students immersed themselves in the expo which focused on positive wellbeing and issues affecting young people such as mental health, drugs and alcohol. Students and staff engaged in activities and conversations with the exhibitors.

With a wide range of sports demonstration stalls running outside, students had a variety of activities to enjoy. Inside, the vertical jump test was a popular station, as well as the therapy dogs, CPR dummies, squat challenges and so much more!

We also welcomed a visit from the Honourable Eva Lawler MLA, Minister for Education, who took a tour of the Expo with some of our Year 12 students.

The day was a great success thanks to the super engaging and passionate people that visited and provided so many great opportunities for the students. Thanks to all the staff and Ms Knutsen's Year 12 Health class who got involved and helped out on the day, as well as all Darwin High Students for treating our visitors with such respect and enthusiasm.

We look forward to another amazing Health Expo next year!
