High Achievers’
Darwin High School’s Year 12 students have reached the end of their formal classes for the year. Last week the School Board recognised the success of the Schools high achievers. School Board member and Lord Mayor, the Hon. Kon Vatskalis attended on the Board’s behalf, thanking the students for their efforts and dedication to their studies.
The Year 12 Graduation for Class of 2018 will be taking place on Wednesday 21 November at the Darwin Convention Centre. The Graduation Ceremony will take place in the Auditorium. Students may bring their parents and partners to this event, but there is a maximum of 3 guests per student. Students are asked to arrive at the Convention Centre by 4.45pm and to be seated by 5.15pm so that we can commence the ceremony at 5.30pm.
Week 2 also saw the school celebrate our Year 10 students who have achieved outstanding results through the year. Students feasted on a pizza party and received praise from Principal, Jill Hazeldine, Year 10 Assistant Principal, Trish Cryer and Year 10 Coordinator, Nick Ergos.
