Indonesian Writing Competition

On Saturday 17 August, students from Darwin High School attended the Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony at the Indonesian Consulate in Darwin.

At the end of the ceremony the winners of the Indonesian Essay Writing Competition and Digital Poster Competition were announced.

Darwin High School Year 11 students won first, second and third prizes in the essay writing competition for non-background speakers, first prize in the essay writing for background speakers and third prize in the digital poster competition

Non-background speaker essay writing winners were – 1st – Ananyaa Devanathan – 2nd – Hajrah Kamran and 3rd prize Natalie Lynch

Background speaker essay winner – 1st – Melianie Zandato

Digital Poster Competition – 3rd place – Logapriya Selvam

Winners received medallions, certificates, pens and gift vouchers.

Congratulations to all student who entered, and thank you to the Indonesian Consulate for sponsoring the competition.
