Integrated Learning on the Ice

Integrated Learning on the Ice

This week our Stage 1 Integrated Learning Physical Education students took to the ice for the start of a five week ice-hockey program.

The group will be exploring and developing the qualities needed to become effective ice hockey players by participating in a 5-week ice hockey program at Darwin Ice Skating. Students will choose 3 ice skating/hockey skills that they’d like to improve upon and they will track their progress across the 5 weeks. These skills will be put to the test in real ice hockey games.
