Invitation: Secondary Reform Community Meeting

Invitation: Secondary Reform Community Meeting

As you may already be aware, the NT Government has commenced consultation for the implementation of one of the recommendations from the Secondary School Review to transition away from the middle school model.

For Darwin High School, this means merging the existing campuses of Darwin High School and Darwin Middle School into a new, fully comprehensive Year 7–12 school. Implementation is expected to begin in 2026, and in preparation for this change, the Department of Education is actively engaging with parents, teachers, and schools.

We invite Darwin High School parents and families to attend a Secondary Reform Community Meeting on:

πŸ“… Wednesday, 19 March
⏰ 4:00 PM
πŸ“ Black Box Theatre, Darwin Middle School

This meeting is open to all members of our school community who are interested in learning more about the next phase of the Secondary Reform and discussing how this transition will be implemented over time.

We encourage everyone to attend and take part in this important conversation about the future of Darwin Middle and Darwin High School.

We look forward to seeing you there.
