Kids and Cops Basketball

Kids and Cops Basketball

At lunchtime on Thursday, Constable Steve and his colleagues Constable Glenn and Superintendent Jody put their hoop-skills and fitness to the test with a series of three a side Basketball matches against Darwin High students.

It was a close contest with 15 wins to Constable Steve’s team and 3 wins to DHS students. Despite age prevailing over youth, a fun time was had by everyone on the court and the sidelines.

The students said they absolutely loved playing against the Police and asked if it could be a regular fixture. The Police Team also enjoyed the game, but Constable Steve was ready for a lie down by the time the bell went!

Thanks to NT Police for their support of Darwin High School and their ongoing commitment to engaging positively with our school community.
