Language Corner

In August last year, a number of students in Australia and overseas participated in the Assessment of Language Competence (ALC) program.
This program involves students sitting for a series of multiple-choice Reading and Listening online Tests.
This test assesses the listening skills and reading comprehension skills of each candidate in the target language (Chinese, Indonesian, Italian, Spanish, Modern Greek, or Japanese) and in their level.
Congratulation to Evelyn Rionata (Indonesian Language) and Louis Hirahara-Henley (Japanese Language) who scored the highest amongst those who sat the ALC Indonesian and Japanese Level 3.
Both students were presented with medals and a certificate at our assembly in Week 4 and have just been recognised in the ALC newsletter.
