Language Success

Language Success

Late last year a number of Darwin High School students participated in the Assessment of Language Competence (ALC) program.

This program involves students sitting for a series of multiple-choice Reading and Listening online Tests.

This test assesses the listening skills and reading comprehension skills of each candidate in the target language (Chinese, Indonesian, Italian, Spanish, Modern Greek, or Japanese) and in their level.

Congratulations to Year 12 student Alishba Saeed for scoring the highest amongst all those who sat the ALC Indonesian Level 3. Alishba also won the National Indonesian Speaking competition last year and was today presented with the ALC medal and certificate at our Year 12 assembly.
