LanguageFest Winners

On 5 September students from around the Territory participated in the Languages Teachers' Association NT annual LanguageFest competition. For the first time in the competition's history, the event was held online.

Students had the opportunity to enter into six categories and were required to prepare a presentation in language.

Congratulations to all the Darwin High School students who were involved. Special mention to the below student for achieving outstanding results:


Year 10 Individual: Hafsa Hasan Zahedi - 1st 

Senior Beginners: Ayesaha Khan - 1st and Alishba Saeed - 2nd

Senior Continuers: Fisher Harris - 1st and I Putu Wisuda - 2nd

Participation: Jecry Marcal and Mayooran Sathyendra 


Division F, Japanese Beginners: Francois Paran - 1st

Division G, Japanese Continuers: Louis Hirahara-Henley - 1st,  Isaac Barnes - 2nd,  Ke Ying - 3rd and AJANT Award - Max Hollis
