Larrakeyah's 60th Birthday Celebration

We had a fantastic assembly at Larrakeyah Primary yesterday to celebrate their 60th birthday.
A past and present student band concluded the assembly by playing ‘Celebration’ by Kool and the Gang. It was a lively and exciting performance, and a wonderful music collaboration of students from years 6-11. The Darwin High students were also ex Darwin Middle students too. I know the older students had some lovely memories being back at their primary school and seeing and playing to some of their teachers.

Congratulations to all the students and a thank you to Nidia Korfias at Larrakeyah, and Natalie Jacobs at Darwin Middle school for assisting with the organisation and providing a rehearsal space.
