Learning through Play
On Tuesday 18 September Darwin High School Stage 2 Child Studies students visited Transition classes at Stuart Park Primary School.
The excursion is part of their Stage 2 Group Practical Investigating Sociocultural Influences on Children through play based learning practices. Students have carefully planned a range of activities that promote social and emotional development through play as well as cultural diversity.

The class will engage with up to 90 Transition students and have visited them previously to build rapport with them. They will be hosting a range of physical activities such as dance and obstacle courses as well as science and experimental play opportunities and craft and creative play.
