Mangrove Field Study

Mangrove Field Study

Last week Darwin High Year 11 Biology classes just spent lessons in the Mangroves between Darwin High School and Mindil Beach gathering data for a Field Study summative assessment task.

The weather was still mostly kind, not very humid, and the students gathered their data in a very timely way in the lessons allocated.

The enthusiasm displayed by students as they worked hard to gather sufficient data in the time available was highly commendable.

Some students returned with Mrs Rosie Reimers later at lunchtime and assisted in confirming mangrove identifications and gathering further data.
