Melbourne Arts Trip 2019

On Tuesday 30 April twenty Darwin High School students and three teachers departed Darwin for the annual Melbourne Arts Trip.
The Stage 1 or Stage 2 Music, Drama, and Visual Arts students will spend a week exploring Melbourne undertaking workshops to further the practical skills of their arts courses.
In addition to the workshops the students will have the opportunity to experience various music and drama related events and attend a range of performances.
After a late night arrival Tuesday, students and staff kicked into their first full day yesterday exploring the National Gallery of Victoria, Top Arts exhibition, the Melbourne Museum and the Queen Victoria Night Market.
They also had the opportunity to participate in a Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School Choir workshop and performances of Barnum the Circus and Cosi.
Fantastic experiences for our Senior Arts students and staff.
