Afternoon Tea with the Chief Minister

Afternoon Tea with the Chief Minister

On Friday 11 August the Darwin High School Mooting Team and the NT Debate Competition champions and runners up, accepted an invitation from the Chief Minister to attend Parliament House for a celebratory afternoon tea.

The Chief Minister congratulated the teams on their dedicated and fantastic work in the NT School Debating Competition, for representing the NT at the Australian Debating Competition, and on placing 10th out of 76 teams at the Bond University Mooting Competition.

The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and their debate and mooting coaches appreciated the opportunity to recognise the students’ incredible achievements in the local and national debating competitions and our students’ stellar performance in Darwin High School's first foray into mooting.
