National Day of Action - Bullying No Way Day

National Day of Action - Bullying No Way Day

Darwin High School has been raising awareness of the impact of bullying. Our SRC in conjunction with Stage 1 Health students organised an awareness campaign and a series of events to send a strong united message to the community in support of the elimination of bulling and violence.

While the official National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence was on Friday 15 March, a pupil free day for all NT Senior Secondary schools meant Darwin High School took action on Thursday 14 March. Students and staff wore blue to support of the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence and our Stage 1 Health students reminded their peers of the support staff at Darwin High School and of the community organisations who specialise in wellbeing. Other students investigated what bullying is and where to get support.

Principal, Jill Hazeldine said

Darwin High School is committed to ensuring that all students have a safe and learning environment where their educational capacity can thrive. We are proud to make this stand against bullying together.
