On 23 March, two teams of Darwin High School girls travelled to Marrara to participate in the Darwin Region School Netball competition. It was a sweltering day where shade, ice and water were very important. Thank you to the parents who provided the teams with extra ice throughout the day. Both teams played with enthusiasm and skill in the round robin competitions. Darwin High School won both the Senior School competitions. Congratulations girls!
Over the end of year break the $2.4 million landscaping upgrade to the oval was completed and we now have a full size oval with enough space for AFL, touch football and soccer, as well as new seating areas and a covered walkway from our campus right through to Darwin Middle School.
