New online resources for student support
We're excited to announce a significant update to the Northern Territory Government's website that will make it easier for you to access information about support services for students with additional needs.
The Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Programs and Services (SWIPS) team has recently updated their webpages on nt.gov.au, providing clearer and more comprehensive information about the support available for our schools.
What's New?
The updated website now offers easy-to-find information on:
- How to enrol students with disabilities
- Support for inclusive education, including personalised learning plans
- Available funding opportunities
- Specialist schools and centres in the NT
- External support organisations
- Tips on advocating for your child
Why this matters
This update is part of the department’s ongoing commitment to ensure that all students, regardless of their needs, have access to quality education and support. By providing clear, accessible information, we aim to empower you to make informed decisions about your child's education.
