SACE Final Examination Timetable
The timetable for final examinations for Stage 2 SACE subjects has recently been released and can be found here: https://www.sace.sa.edu.au/documents/652891/ddb4a5dc-0c02-4287-adbd-70944a6cb66c
Special Provisions
Equity in assessment is one of the underlying principles of reporting in the NTCET. It is recognised by the School and SACE that personal circumstances sometimes make it difficult for a student to participate in some assessment tasks or to complete them in the same way as other students. Alternative arrangements can be made to ensure that the assessment is fair to all students. The alternative arrangements are called ‘Special Provisions’.
Special Provisions may be provided on the grounds of illness or impairment, misadventure or interrupted schooling. Granting of Special Provisions is based on evidence provided by the student, School and in some circumstances, others outside the School.
Students should see the NTCET Coordinator for further information on Special Provisions.
Stage 2 Languages
An opportunity exists for students who are fluent speakers and writers of a language other than English that is assessed by SACE but not taught by any school in Darwin or distance education to gain a Stage 2 credit towards their NTCET. Students apply to SACE to enrol in the subject as a private candidate and the subject grade is based on the score obtained in the examination only.
There are 30 languages available but they do not include French, German, Italian, Greek, Chinese, Indonesian, Hungarian, Japanese or Spanish. Please contact the NTCET Coordinator for more information as enrolments need to be completed by the end of March. This opportunity is available to students currently studying Stage 1 or 2.
