Open for Business

This Term Year 10 Commerce students are successfully operating many small enterprises on Tuesdays at lunchtime until Week 5. 

The students have been working very hard and have been operating very professionally. Through the course, students develop skills in marketing, business management, customer service and financial record keeping and decision making.

Students had to work in groups to come up with a business concept that they could run at lunch time. Each group receives a loan of up to $100 to finance their business. Last term they worked on creating a business plan for their chosen concept and they are now at the operating stage. They are operating their businesses once a week for 3 weeks (week 2, 3 and 5).
