Out and About with Outdoor Ed in Term 1
In week 7 our Outdoor Education team ran 2 back to back overnight climbing trips to Hayes Creek.
The trips were a culmination of a 6 week program of skill development at school for the Stage 1 classes. Students had the opportunity to take on 6 different climbs and also do an abseil.
It was a muddy walk out through a swap to the climbing walls. Weather threatened but aside from a few showers and the intense heat the weather did not affect the trips.
Everyone had a fantastic time! A huge thank you to the dedicated staff whose support and hard work make these trips possible.
