Outdoor Education at Hayes Creek

This week the three Stage 1 Outdoor Education classes headed to Hayes Creek for their rock climbing assessment.
Over the course of three day, the 55 students each spent a full day being introduced to rock climbing and abseiling in the outdoors. The trip provided students with the opportunity to put into practice the training they have completed over the first 7 weeks of school.
From their starting point in the Tank using the milk crates, to abseiling down the cliffs at the back of the campus and most importantly working as a team to support each other.
While the onset of some monsoonal weather created some additional challenges, everyone had a fantastic time.
A big thank you to the staff who assisted Mr Dalgleish and Mr Bent with the trips.
