From the Band

The Darwin High School band has had a busy schedule this term, performing at a whole school assembly, the Persona Indonesia celebrations and next week at our Seniors’ Morning of Entertainment.

The band is made up of students from Years 10-12 as well as several of our talented teachers. They have a broad repertoire that includes everything from Classical works to Jazz and Movie Themes.

On Saturday August 4 twenty-one students and three teachers took to the stage at the Darwin Waterfront for Persona Indonesia, on invitation from the Indonesian Consulate. The students enjoyed the showcase of culture, entertainment, food and fashion parade.

Next week the school will host its annual Seniors’ Morning of Entertainment as part of Seniors’ Month. Congratulations to all the students and staff involved in the bands continued success and contribution to community.
