Pink Stumps Day

Pink Stumps Day

Last Friday Darwin High School celebrated Pink Stumps Day during raising much-needed funds for the McGrath Foundation.

The McGrath Foundation places Breast Care Nurses in communities around Australia, making a real difference to families experiencing breast cancer.

Students and staff showed their support by wearing pink, making a donation and by joining in with some of the fun and activities on the oval at lunchtime. Special thanks for Mrs Latham's Community Studies class for organising a fundraiser BBQ.

This year in addition to cricket, the event included beach volleyball and golf. The event was enjoyed by all those who attending and $440 for the McGrath Foundation.
