PRIDE Day 2024

PRIDE Day 2024

On Friday 9 August Darwin High School held its annual Pride Day event. This student-led initiative supported LGBTQIA+ students and is part of Darwin High School’s ongoing wellbeing focus.

The lunchtime event had a festival atmosphere, with members of the school community dressing in rainbow colours to show their support for the day. Students and staff enjoyed music and activities, with a best-dressed competition, and Pride Committee members addressed students in between performances.

The event was a huge success and an absolute credit to the group of students who initiated planned and coordinated the day. Feedback about the day was overwhelmingly positive.
