Push Up Challenge
We are 9 days into the push-up challenge and so far as a school community we have completed over 20,674 push-ups. We have 11 teams this year who want to step up and help make a change against mental health. As a school we have raised $350 out of $1000, which is an amazing effort. If you want to join us and make a change, use the link below to donate today.

This week Makayla and other students participating in the Push Up Challenge left chalk message around campus to engage students and staff in some of the key mental health messages of the campaign. Pictured above are the members of the DHS staff team.
On Monday we had a guest speaker Kate who is the co-founder of Dolly's Dream, for those of you who don't know Dolly's Dream was created Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide after ongoing bullying. Kate and Tick's goal is to prevent other families from walking down the same road. They want to change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression, and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families. Dolly's Dream is proudly brought to you by the Alannah and Madeline Foundation. If you would like to support year 12 student Makayla Zelley, click the link below to donate to her go-fund me.
