School Sport Australia AFL Championships

Last week in partnership with School Sport Australia, Darwin High School Year 12 Integrated Learning students organised and facilitated activities for the 12 and Under School Sport Australia AFL Championships.

The students ran team building games and activities for one hundred AFL players from across the country, as part of their Group Activity task. Although a little shy and nervous to start, the students quickly developed their confidence to successfully engage all the players.

Darwin High School teacher, Alicia Stanley said

The students should be proud of their efforts, I received many positive comments from the interstate team managers and players about their commitment and leadership.
