Senior Interschool 3x3 Basketball Gala Day
On Wednesday 23 April, twenty-four Darwin High School students proudly represented our school at the 2025 Senior Interschool 3x3 Basketball Gala Day, held at Marrara Basketball Stadium.
The fast-paced competition featured 10-minute, half-court games, with three players on the court and rotating substitutes. Darwin High School was one of only seven schools from the Darwin region to take part in the exciting event.
Our school entered two girls’ teams and four boys’ teams into the competition. While we didn’t claim the top spot in any of the four pools, all teams were highly competitive and came very close! A special mention goes to Team Rho (DH7) in Boys Pool D, who finished an impressive second overall, narrowly defeated by OCC 9 from O’Loughlin Catholic College.
A huge thank you to Mr Brodie Driscoll-Court and Officer Sue Seears, who accompanied and supported the teams on the day. They were extremely proud of the students — not just for their effort and sportsmanship on the court, but also for their willingness to support the event by assisting with umpiring and scorekeeping throughout the day.
Congratulations to all students involved for your spirit, teamwork, and outstanding representation of Darwin High School!
