Seniors' Morning of Entertainment 2023

Seniors' Morning of Entertainment 2023

On Friday 25 August, Darwin High School held our annual Seniors’ Morning of Entertainment. This year the event was particularly special because the school is also celebrating its 60th anniversary and the event provided an opportunity to reconnect with former staff, students and families. Over 200 members of our Senior community attended the event, with tickets selling out in just 9 days!

The program for the morning was packed with student performances including: the Darwin High School Concert Band, School Choir and Music students; and Dance students.

Before enjoying the delicious morning tea, to mark the 60th anniversary, all former students and staff were invited up to join a special photo and cut the cake made by DHS alumna, Jaime from Jim Jam's cakes.

The event also showcased an exhibition by Year 10-12 Art students from painting, design & photography classes across all year levels.

For many of the guests declared it the highlight of the Seniors’ Month Calendar.

The end result was a fantastic showcase our incredibly talented students and our dedicated teachers. Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to all those who attended. We look forward to welcoming you all again in 2024.
