SIEU Excursion to Charles Darwin University

On Friday 22 September thirty-four Darwin High School SIEU students attended the 2018 VET for School Secondary Program Information Day. 

Students had the opportunity to spend time at both the Palmerston and Casuarina CDU campuses learning about some of the VET programs available to them and were particularly engaged with the trainers demonstrating the skills involved in plumbing. The event also gave students the opportunity to get hands on and try out their skills, with many having a go at welding and bending pipes.
