SIEU Excursion to the Territory Wildlife Park

SIEU Excursion to the Territory Wildlife Park

On Friday 11 August Darwin High School Secondary Intensive English Unit (SIEU) students went on an excursion to the Territory Wildlife Park.

For most it was their first time visiting the park and seeing and touching Australian animals up close. Students were able to see and learn about the animals of the Northern Territory and had the opportunity to improve their English language skills while meeting and getting to know students from other countries who they may not get a chance to talk to in their classes.

All the students had an enjoyable time and were able to discuss and write about their new experiences when they returned to school.
