SIEU Work Ready Excursion

SIEU Work Ready Excursion

On Wednesday 21 March, twelve Darwin High School Senior Intensive English Unit (SIEU) students visited the Parmalat factory Stuart Park as part of the Work Ready Skills program.

The Parmalat factory is a manufacturing facility, sales and distribution office, most known for being the home of Paul's Iced Coffee.

The students had the opportunity to learn about the history of the factory and see firsthand the production and processes involved. The group enjoyed a tour of the Parmalat facility and were also invited to a BBQ lunch put on by the Parmalat staff for Harmony Day. The students really enjoyed the visit and learnt something new about working life in Darwin.
