Skills 2021 Expo at Parliament House

Skills 2021 Expo at Parliament House

Last week Darwin High School showcased its Design and Technology Subjects at the Skills 2021 Expo at Parliament House. This is the second year Darwin High School has been invited to participate in the event.

The Skills 2021 Expo provides students with an opportunity to learn about new technologies and future careers in our digital world, including the latest developments in robotics, 3D printing, multimedia, and gaming.

Darwin High School Design and Technology students Damon Lines, David Botha and Jamie-Lee Bernabe-Salazar provided demonstrations on AutoCAD, Electronics, Robotics and 3D Printing.

Faculty Senior, Manju said

The students’ exhibition was incredibly impressive and received high interest from not only primary and middle school students but also event stakeholders and members of the general public. The growing number of visitors shows massive interest in these areas and the tsunami of young coders, soon to hit the shores of Darwin High School.

Following the Skills 2021 Expo Dr Tim Kitchen held a series of Adobe workshops on campus for visual art, design and photography students.
