Skipping success!

Three talented Darwin High students recently competed in the 2022 Australian Rope Skipping Championships held in Darwin during the October school holidays.

Year 12 student Sammy George, and Year 10 students Abbey George and Ruby Joswig had a very successful competition with Ruby coming away with 2 medals, Abbey winning 6 medals and Sammy gaining a whopping 8 medals!

This medal haul included a silver medal for a double dutch event in which all three students performed together. Sammy and Abbey surprised even themselves coming away with an Australian record for their Double Under Speed Relay! Congratulations Sammy, Abbey and Ruby on your super successful competition and great results!
