So Brave

So Brave

Darwin High School was privileged to receive a visit from So Brave, Australia’s Young Women’s Breast Cancer Charity on Friday 12 August.

So Brave is an organisation that delivers Breast Cancer Education to schools. The So Brave Ambassadors presented to a number of our female students and discussed self-awareness, breast cancer checks, warning signs, and the importance of body positivity and empowerment. The presentation also encouraged the students to advocate for their own health so they can feel in control of their health and future.

Thank you to presenters: Rachelle Panitz (managing director and founder) Rachel, Gabby, Claire, Karina, Angel, Nicola and Tracey (So Brave Ambassadors) and Tara (admin) for sharing their inspiring stories about their breast cancer journeys. More info about So Brave: https://sobrave.org.au/
