Sounds of Music in the Tank

On Friday 12 August the DHS Music Department held its first public performance in a long time and it was hard to tell who was happier to be back - our talented music students - or the audience. 

This concert featured the instrumental work of;

• the Darwin High School Concert Band
• the Darwin High School Jazz Band
• our 2 award winning small ensembles, Saxophone Trio and Brass Quartet
• 3 solo performances from senior instrumentalists
  • Holly Shugg – French Horn
  • Archer Bryett – Trombone
  • Llainemarr Dalde – Piano

Congratulations to all the students who were involved and their teacher Ms Bryett. We look forward to seeing you on stage again soon.
