Staff and Students Push for Better

Darwin High School staff and students are participating in the Push-Up challenge in a fundraiser for Headspace NT.

There are 6 student teams from Ms Knutsen's Stage 1 Health class and another 7 student teams from her Year 10 PE class participating in the challenge.

In addition to the student teams, PE staff Ms Knutsen, Mr Andreae, Mr Symons, and Ms Allen are participating as a DHS staff team - The Tanks.

Each team will complete 3,046 push-ups in just 21 days to raise awareness and funds for mental health. The staff team will complete a whopping 12,184 push-ups. The challenge started on Monday 11 May and the staff team has already completed 1,503 push-ups.
