Staff Professional Development Day - Friday 1 December

On Friday 1 December all Darwin High School staff will be participating in a Professional Development Day to allow the school to focus on the implementation of our Schoolwide Instructional Model and to allow for curriculum planning for 2024.
Students are not expected to attend school on this day as no Year 10, 11 or SIEU classes will be conducted. All off-site VET programs will continue as scheduled.
All Year 11 classes will finish on Friday 24 November (Week 7). All assessments and exams will be completed by this date. From Monday 27 November there will be no formal Year 11 classes running. An alternative program will run for Year 11 students for the remainder of the Term. All Year 10 classes will continue until Thursday 14 December and students are expected to attend school. Parents/carers will need to notify the school if their child is absent for any reason.
Year 10, 11 and SIEU students will have the opportunity to try out their 2024 timetable on Thursday 7 December for Try Your Timetable Day. More information will be available in Compass closer to the date.
The last day of school for Darwin High School students is Thursday 14 December.
