Staff vs Student 3x3

Darwin High School Community Studies B Physical Education students have been working hard this term to complete their school-based assessments and their external assessments.

Four Year 12 students; Zelco Lay, Emman Sison, Michael Linnell and Brenton Weedon completed their community-based activity of coaching a group of students within our class to play in a staff vs student 3x3 basketball lunchtime competition. Although recollections of the outcome of games could differ, depending on if you asked a student or staff member, a unanimous response would be how fun it was. Students and staff played respectfully, tried hard and displayed good sportsmanship throughout the event. A huge thank you to all staff involved in both playing and supervising and also to the Community Studies B PE class for the high quality of game play.
