Stage 2 Physical Education Wheelchair Basketball

Stage 2 Physical Education Wheelchair Basketball

By Physical Education Teacher, Ms Allen

Darwin High School Stage 2 Physical Education class has commenced the semester by investigating barriers and enablers that impact participation in wheelchair basketball.

Students are required to participate in 3 practical sessions where we focus on wheelchair basketball skills, game strategy and tactics. They will identify a personal barrier or enabler that influenced their participation and use evidence collected to determine how they could improve their participation in game play in the future.

Everyone is enjoying the experience and have taken the opportunity to learn a lot about themselves and their peers.
