STEAM Building Update

Darwin High School STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Centre is in the final stages completion.
The STEAM Centre will provide our students with modern classrooms and a state of the art facility, including a cutting-edge FAB-lab, fifteen contemporary interconnecting classrooms over two levels and presentation and project spaces.
Over the last few weeks staff and some of our SRC students have been given a sneak peak. Everyone who had the opportunity to tour the STEAM Centre was incredibly excited about the building and looking forward to being able to use the learning spaces. The centre will open to students in Term 3, 2019. Staff will begin moving in over the three week break and we look forward to hosting a Grand Opening event around the middle of next term to showcase the facility. More information will be available in the next newsletter.
