Street Art with Stage 1 Visual Art

This week our Stage 1 Visual Art students enjoyed excursions to the CBD to take a tour lead by DHS Art teachers Miss Polly and Miss Jemima of the artwork produced by local artists as part of the annual Darwin Street Art Festival.

The tour finished in Austin Lane (a public artmaking space) with students creating their own street art in the form of Paste-Ups, Stencils and Fee-Painting.

Miss Polly and Miss Jemima were overwhelmed by the creativity, enthusiasm and positivity exhibited by our DHS students.
