Strengthening ties with Indonesia

Strengthening ties with Indonesia

As our closest neighbour, Darwin High School has been working hard to build bridges with Indonesia. Our effort has been greatly supported by the Indonesian Consulate in Darwin. On Monday 15 February 2016, the Indonesian Consulate presented Mr Read with books and other Indonesian resources donated by the Attaché in Canberra.

After the presentation, Mr Siregar (The Indonesian Consul in Darwin) was invited to participate in a fun, engaging language activity with the Stage 1 Indonesian class. In the Stage 2 Indonesian class students had the opportunity to have some discussion with Mr Siregar related to their in-depth Study topic.
