Student supports RSPCA

Last week Year 11 Community Studies student Sam Kilgour completed a fundraising campaign to support the RSPCA.

Sam said

I chose the RSPCA because I love animals and wanted to raise money for a charity that supported animal welfare.

Students and staff were able to buy tickets for a chocolate basket raffle - congratulations to the winner, tutor Zoe Crawford in the Study Centre - and guess the number of lollies in a jar - congratulations to Josie Roberts from NTSDE on her winning guess.

Sam's fundraising campaign was supported by the RSPCA who even made a visit on campus on Thursday with some kittens who are awaiting adoption to help sell raffle tickets and talk to students about the work the RSPCA do in the community.

A big congratulations to Sam on all his efforts and for fundraising over $150 for the RSPCA.
