Students Support Febfast

Students Support Febfast

On Tuesday 25 February some of our Stage 2 Health students held a fundraiser to support Febfast.

The class gave something up for the month of February that would benefit their health in a bid to raise funds to support young Australians experience disadvantage.

Part of an annual, national campaign, all funds raised go towards disadvantaged youth affected by problems such as drug addiction, social disconnection and mental health problems.

Determined to raise as much money as possible, the students organised a range of activities at lunchtime in B covered way, including food and drink stalls and a guess the lollies in the lolly jar competition. Thank you to MLA, Michael Gunner for supporting the event by donating supplies.

All of their efforts combined meant the students raised an impressive $700 for Febfast. Vital funds which will help support organisations to offer specialised programs and youth workers.

Congratulations to everyone who was involved!
